TESTIMONIALS

OSB has worked closely with ASWS to undertake the restoration of Plumstead Library. The project on initial review was straightforward with the removal of the steel windows from stone surrounds. We held several co-ordination meetings with PAYE and RBG, that appeased concerns raised by the clients conservation officer. The removal went to plan, and ASWS was helpful and proactive, updating the site team on a regular basis. Once removed, ASWS acted swiftly to repair “some of the worst windows they had ever seen”

We were then offered the support to explain to the client the cause of the poor condition, and manage the client’s expectation, in a professional and timely manner. If I were to have a refurbishment project of this nature again, I would strongly recommend ASWS to undertake the repair and remediation, without hesitation.

Alex Land – Project Manager for Geoffrey Osborne - Plumstead Library

ASWS undertook installation and replacement of existing damaged steel glazing frames with glazing works all to match the existing facade. ASWS’s commitment and professionalism and general help to get the job done were second to none matching existing frames and glazing to almost exact details. ASWS met programme dates with ease including extra works thrown at them at the later stages. Their approach to coordinating/interfacing with other trades was refreshing and made the process of completing the works and removal of access equipment run smoothly. I would gladly recommend ASWS and would not hesitate to use their services again when the need arise.

Kieran Dooley – Package Manager for Sir Robert McAlpine Project - Selfridges Phase 2

ASWS completed an extensive scope of refurbishment and re-glazing of steel windows at Bush House, Aldwych for us. Laura and her team engaged with us and our client early in the process, at pre-construction stage. Their expertise and knowledge proved invaluable during this phase, to us and the client.

Their work ethic and commitment to our project carried right throughout the build phase and beyond. They turned up when they said they would and most importantly for me completed on time. When extra work arose, as it does, they were not phased and took it in their stride. Their workmanship and quality were top notch and despite being busy with other projects, never let us down on a programme or quality front.

Their proactive and positive approach makes them a pleasure to work with. Highly recommended – thanks for all your help ASWS.

Kevin George- Project Manager for ISG plc Project – Bush House NWW

ng worked with ASWS on a number of projects over the last few years, with works ranging from surveys, hoist removal, servicing and overhauling windows to more specialized leaded light glazing, it has always been a pleasure to work with them. The ASWS team, from top down, are always conscientious and helpful. Achieving the highest standards of work at all times, even when inevitably under time pressures, as is so often the case on construction projects.

Their presence and knowledge on projects from the survey stage through to close-out is invaluable for us, our clients and architects. I would have no hesitation in recommending ASWS for any window project, and I look forward to working with them in the future.

Andrew Sheppard – Project Director for ISG plc Numerous Projects Including Bush House Centre Block & North East Wing

Given the very large number of windows to be restored, over a long period of time, getting the right contractor to carry out the work was fundamental to the success of the refurbishment project overall.

ASWS is not only a specialist in such work but possibly the only company at the time which was able to install a double-glazed unit into that profile. It was a strong selling point for them and we were happy with the service they provided throughout the project.

Matthew Coleman - Project Manager for Geoffrey Osborne Project - Hackney Town Hall

ASWS was involved from beginning to end and they were exceptionally helpful, working assiduously right the way through the project. We were very pleased with their proactive approach. From my point of view, they have done remarkably well and came up with the goods; I’m very happy with the result and would certainly go back to them.

David Loxton - Loxton & Associates
Project - Alexandra House

We relied on ASWS as specialists to tell us what could and couldn’t be repaired. They were incredibly knowledgeable and their expertise was helpful in understanding what needed to be done with the windows.

Andrew Morgan - JM Architects
Project - Heals Building

We regularly use ASWS and the project went really well. The initial schedule of work that they produced was incredibly useful and detailed. It was quite a tricky project for them and they did a good job, especially considering the budgetary constraints and number of windows involved. Their advice and expertise were very helpful, especially with the ironmongery.
